2. How high should the stage stand?

Confirm one height setting before ordering, because it decides which legs and access you need. Standard legs adjust from 4 to 28 in (10 cm to 71 cm), Shorties give 8 in and 10 in (20 cm and 25 cm) settings, and Biggies go up to 36 in (91 cm).

Think about the audience: seated or standing, and how far back the last row is. If you choose Shorties or Biggies, add them to the same quote so the legs arrive with the decks.

3. How will people get on and off?

Decide where performers get on and off, then choose stairs or a step up. MyStage stairs have three steps with grip tape and a railing, for stages up to 28 in (71 cm). A single step up suits lower stages.

4. Which edges need railings?

Plan railings for every edge that is not used for access or set against a wall, especially at the back and sides of a raised stage. Railings come in 4 ft (1.22 m) sections, so count the open edge length in 4 ft units.

5. What surface will the stage stand on?

Check the ground where the stage will stand, because the legs adjust to level each deck. MyStage was designed to make a flat, level surface on uneven ground outdoors, and each deck stands on five legs, including a center leg that reduces bounce.

Each deck is rated to hold up to 3,400 lbs (1,542 kg).

6. What finished look do you want?

Choose skirting color and count, since skirting hides legs, cables and cases. Each skirt is 16 ft x 28 in (4.88 m x 71 cm), comes in black or white and attaches with Velcro adhesive. Count skirts by the stage edges you want covered, measured in 16 ft (4.88 m) lengths.

7. How will you store and move the stage after the event?

Confirm a storage spot before the stage arrives. Folded decks are 2 ft x 4 ft (0.61 m x 1.22 m) and stack, and each deck weighs 42 lbs (19 kg) with a shoulder strap for carrying.

8. How will freight and timing work?

How does USD pricing work for Canadian buyers?

MyStage prices are in US dollars, so your card is charged in USD and your card issuer converts the charge to Canadian dollars. The issuer sets the exchange rate it uses, and that rate is not set by MyStage.

Many card issuers also add a foreign transaction fee to purchases charged in another currency, usually as a percentage of the converted amount. Some cards do not charge one. Your cardholder agreement or your issuer's customer service will tell you which applies to your card.
