MyStage sizes are listed in feet and inches, but many Canadian venues, architects and event planners work in metric. This page lists every standard MyStage size in both, so you can check a stage against a floor plan without converting by hand. All metric values are rounded to the nearest centimeter.
The deck
- One deck: 4 ft x 4 ft (1.22 m x 1.22 m).
- Folded for storage and transport: 2 ft x 4 ft (0.61 m x 1.22 m).
Every stage is a grid of these decks, so the metric size of any stage is a multiple of 1.22 m.

- 1 deck: 4 ft x 4 ft (1.22 m x 1.22 m)
- 2 decks: 4 ft x 8 ft (1.22 m x 2.44 m)
- 3 decks: 4 ft x 12 ft (1.22 m x 3.66 m)
- 4 decks: 8 ft x 8 ft (2.44 m x 2.44 m)
- 6 decks: 8 ft x 12 ft (2.44 m x 3.66 m)
- 8 decks: 8 ft x 16 ft (2.44 m x 4.88 m)

Heights
- Standard legs: 4 to 28 in (10 cm to 71 cm).
- Shorties (low legs): 8 and 10 in (20 cm and 25 cm).
- Biggies (tall legs): 26 to 36 in (66 cm to 91 cm).
Accessories
- Railing: one section covers a 4 ft (1.22 m) deck edge.
- Skirting: 16 ft x 28 in (4.88 m x 71 cm), enough for all four sides of one deck.
- Stairs: three steps, for stages up to 28 in (71 cm).
Working out railings and skirting
Count the open edges of your stage in 4 ft (1.22 m) lengths to get the number of railing sections. For skirting, measure the edges you want covered: each 16 ft (4.88 m) skirt covers the equivalent of one deck's four sides. The Stage Builder calculates both for you.

MyStage publishes its load ratings and certifications on the Tech page exactly as tested. We do not convert or recalculate them here.
Buying from Canada
MyStage prices are in US dollars (USD), and your card issuer converts the charge to Canadian dollars. We ship to Canadian addresses outside Quebec. We do not ship to Quebec. Freight to Canada is quoted per order, so contact us with the products you want and your postal code for an international shipping estimate, and ask about import duties, GST/HST and brokerage at the same time.
Worked example
A venue floor plan shows a stage area of about 3.7 m x 6.1 m. That is 12 ft x 20 ft, or 15 decks (12 ft x 20 ft (3.66 m x 6.10 m)). The stage has open edges on the back and both sides: 12 ft + 20 ft + 20 ft = 52 ft of edge, or 13 railing sections of 4 ft, less any edge used for stairs.

Are custom deck sizes available?
No. MyStage decks are 4 ft x 4 ft only, and stages are built from combinations of them.
Can we add decks later?
Yes. Every MyStage deck is the same 4 ft x 4 ft size and connects to the others, so you can start small and add decks, railings or skirting as your needs grow.
Are prices in Canadian dollars?
No. Prices are in US dollars, and your card issuer converts the charge.
Do you ship to Quebec?
No. We ship to Canadian addresses outside Quebec.
