What is a portable runway stage?
A portable runway stage, also called a fashion runway, catwalk stage or modeling runway, is a raised, narrow platform that extends into or through an audience, so models or performers can walk, turn and engage with viewers on both sides. Unlike a fixed stage, it can be assembled in any venue, set to custom lengths and heights, and taken down and moved after the event.

How to set up a runway stage: the MyStage method
- Count your decks. Each 4 ft x 4 ft deck adds 4 linear feet (1.22 m) to your catwalk.
- Unfold each deck. The legs deploy and lock: no tools, no pins, no bolts.
- Connect the decks with the integrated coupling for a flush runway surface.
- Set the height from 4 in to 28 in. All four corner legs plus the center leg adjust independently.
- Finish it. Attach skirting with adhesive Velcro, clip on railings or stairs if needed, and the runway is show-ready.

Planning the room
- Audience on both sides: leave an aisle along each side of the runway and at the far end for photographers.
- Turns and T-ends: an 8 ft (2.44 m) wide end deck gives models room to turn and pose.
